A review of Martial God Asura which is also known as Xiuluo Wushen. It is a martial arts manhua created by author Kind Bee and is illustrated by artist Pikapi. It revolves around protagonist Chu Feng who is treated like trash due to not advancing through his sect ranks for so many years. As you can imagine, by your ever so generic martial arts law he becomes someone to be reckoned with. Overall the storyline, art style and characters are pretty decent and I feel safe in stating that anyone can pick it up and enjoy it.
As mentioned, this manhua follows protagonist Chu Feng and his rise through the outer, inner and core sects. However, there aren’t a lot of translated chapters yet, so I haven’t been able to get very far into it yet. But so far so good!

What Is Good About Martial God Asura (修罗武神)
Storyline
While it doesn’t have many chapters yet, the story has been really good and I have been hooked! I cannot wait for the next set of chapters to be released for this manhua. While a bit generic it is a great read and definitely becoming better as each chapter progresses. It does give of a kind of Battle Through The Heavans vibe.
Art Style
I have to say, the art style in this manhua is very nice. I really like the way that all of the characters and sceneary are drawn! They give off a Genshin Impact kind of vibe. Which in itself is pretty cool.
Protagonist
I think Chu Feng is a relatively cool protagonist – while a little bit generic to start off with, I feel that he has become a relatively interesting character in the first chapters so far.
What Is Bad About Martial God Asura (修罗武神)
A Little Generic
As mentioned above, the only critisim I have is that it’s a little generic… but I suppose it’s early days. I will update this section more as new chapters get released.
Overall Conclusion
Overall I would have to say that this is a relatively cool manhua to follow and I cannot say I don’t recommend it. I would say anyone who likes martial arts manhua should add this to their arsenal.
