Villain To Kill (빌런투킬 퍼핀) Webtoon Review

anime nomi villain to kill featured image

A review of Villain To Kill, a new webtoon by author Fupin and illustrator Eunji. This webtoon is fairly unique in terms of the storyline and ideas behind it. The art style is very nice to look at and the characters are very unique and written well. This is a very good webtoon based around the supernatural, in short, villains are driven by their evil desires… and psykers pursue justice and go against the villains. I would recommend anyone who is after a new webtoon to read this, especially if you like the fantasy-action and supernatural genres.

The webtoon starts off pretty easy and after the first few chapters gets right into it. The storyline then progresses naturally and buildup to the next big bad progress. Quite generic in a sense when you think about it, but very unique when you actually read it. So don’t think this is just your run of the mill generic webtoon, it deserves to be read!

What Is Good About Villain To Kill (빌런투킬퓨핀)

Storyline

I quite like the storyline of this webtoon, it’s different from what I usually see and while it may sound generic, it’s actually really well thought about. It’s an excellent start to what seems to be an S rank webtoon!

Art Style

The art style, while interesting, has an excellent choice of colour palettes and the line art is really nice. The scenery is amazing and really sets the mood accordingly, a job well done by artist Eunji!

Characters

The characters have been really well written and they are fairly unique, and while you may get the odd one or two predictable side characters – the main ones stay just as unique as they first were. For now, I am looking forward to reading on and finding out more about Cassian Lee.

Villains

I know, I know. Villains are not meant to be good! But these ones just required some praise in my views – it almost felt like I was reading Sword Art Online with how vile some of the introductory villains were. They also give off a very subtle Terror Man vibe, which is mysterious and nice!

What Is Bad About Villain To Kill (빌런투킬퓨핀)

None

For now, I cannot think of anything wrong with this webtoon. I am looking forward to seeing future releases!

Overall Conclusion

My overall opinion? It’s an awesome webtoon with the potential to become really big. I really hope it stays as unique as it has been in the first 20 chapters.
